These fans aren't really that loud but they put out an amazing amount of air flow and have great static pressure as well. From my reading, the yate loons D12SL (CFM 47, DB 28) seem to be the premier choice for quiet cooling fans with regards to radiator/HC cooling. I purchased one of these fans to go on the rear of my CPU cooler for Push/Pull configuration and I have not regretted this purchase at all.
